Grandpa Jacobs

We just got back from Vale, Oregon yesterday. We were there to pay
tribute to my Grandpa, John Haines Jacobs. Our hearts are heavy, but
how grateful we are to have known him and to be a part of this great
big wonderful family that is his legacy.
I will remember him best for his love of and dedication to his wife of
66 years and his family, his faith, his love of horses, yodeling, hard
work, farming(especially corn), pulling taffy, his laughter and his
smile.
I will miss him so much, but I am determined to live my life the way
he did...with God and family at the center, with hard work, lots of
laughter, and music.
